Budget Build

Well I've been busy with the truck. Here's its test run in the backyard. Nothing broke so I'm happy.

I have the video of the blown t-case somewhere. But basically what happened was I tried to climb the hill again. But this time I never backed out of the throttle and bounced the front end off the ground about a foot and lost the drivers side coil. When the coil came out it pushed the front driveshaft into the transfer case. It shattered the front output on the transfer case. All is good now though. I just finished swapping the transfer case so its driveable. I just need to figure out a better way to hold the coil in or buy limit straps.

Here's some pictures from this morning.

Looks good though... hate to see that thing get all scratched up on trails tho...

Well I tied up some loose ends in the past few weeks. I took it out today and it did awesome. The welded 9" work very well. I did managed to break and bend the stock radius arm drop brackets. They're going to need some major reinforcement. Ok here's the pics....

I actually made prolly a hundred or so after scrapping the truck and selling off my old tires and wheels. I still need to sell my 6" Skyjacker kit for it.

Do you happen to still have the '79 frame? I am looking for a set of '79 coil buckets.

Sorry, I scrapped the frame. I almost pulled the buckets, but I figured I didn't need them so I left them on when I scrapped it.
