Bucket Seats

Hi, I just bought a 96 ranger extended cab with a 60/40 ragged out seat. I want to replace them with bucket seats and console. I know several of the ford car seats will fit, but I was wondering if any one knows if the later (2000 up) F150 seats would fit maybe by installing my seat rails off the ranger 60/40 seats?

It's been done. There was a thread on here recently where someone put King Ranch seats in a Ranger.

The basic search function in VBulliten is kinda crappy. Unless you know who started the thread, at least one of the title words, and the week it was started it is hard to find things here because this forum is so busy.

I put the king ranch seats in the ranger with the console! It's in a 95 single cab and fits pretty good. They are snug tho! It's all cut and welded but they did bolt in to the floor using original tracks.

I know right?! Now ill be looking out for a set of tan leather buckets and console for mine!

Im not even going to try to get Kind Ranch seats since ill never be that lucky!

Yup, those are sweet buckets. The hardest part of installing buckets is finding the seats to use...I did Mustang GT/Sport buckets and they were a great swap...just wish the power lumbar thing really worked. But now I'm thinking about another swap...to the King Ranch buckets in this thread. I can live without the console.

WHAT! You got the deal of the century. Those seats go for 300 bucks a piece, and the guys driving super duty's are paying 2 grand for front and rear seats along with the console to swap their interiors.
