BR's 97 Supercab Build

This Ranger has a new owner (Jake Ten Eyck on Facebook) and a few new mods:

"My 1997 ford ranger, twin traction beam d35 up front, for explorer 8.8 rear. One of the previous owners did a trutrac locker in the front, and a grizzly locker in the rear. James Duff 6" radius arm lift, deaver leafs in the rear, atlas 2 speed twin stick t-case. I got it a couple months ago and it needed some love, but it had all the right parts for a perfect rig that didn't need a lot of extra parts thrown at it. I had to freshen up the bushings and seals up front. Replace the core support and body mounts. Put a winch on it and made a bumper and sliders for it. I had to put some cool retro graphics on it, from a 77 free wheeling package i got on ebay. Kept up with the local land cruiser club for a fun weekend of wheeling. But on the drive home it let me know it was tired. Radiator chamber split open and fuel tank is dumping fuel at the top.

I'm keeping it ttb for as long as it works! Its the coolest looking suspension to me, rides smooth, and does good off road. I plan on swapping to d44 knuckles, super 88 kit for the rear, and do a better steering set up.

Previous owner did a write up on TheRangerStation, you can search "BRs 97 super cab build" on google and read it if you want more info. Hes aware of what I'm doing with it and happy it lives on as a wheeling rig. He did the work 5 years ago, sold it so a kid in pa, that kid traded it to another kid, then i got it. I had to do some digging to find the owner who did all the work, hes happy to see it still going and i can reach out to ask him questions about what he did or how he made something work. Super smart dude, this thing is probably the only vehicle I've ever owned that didn't have a lazy or cheap PO who half assed something lol"
