Well it's cold in New Hampshire this morning, at least by NH standards. -10 degrees F in Concord, but up north it was closer to -30.

By Minnesota standards, -10 is t-shirt weather! :icon_rofl:

Thankfully, my trusty Ranger started. Good thing I bought a new battery a couple of weeks ago!

F that.

It's about 30-40 F here and I am bitching about the cold everyday while in my garage.

hey man its a heat wave here. 17F

not long ago(Thursday) it was -43 in places near me.

Lol, its been about 15 here and I had todo a headgasket on a saturn in my garage that's 20deg

I don't honestly know how cold it got here in the Poconos...

the battery in my Digital thermometer died.

the battery in my truck got so cold it froze and busted out both ends when the corners let go.

Funny thing was because it was FROZEN it didn't lose a drop of acid in inside the truck.

It was -11 here, my Cherokee was PISSED it had to start at 7am. Thankfully, I was in my bed with flannel sheets and the heat on 75 degrees while my Wife started the Jeep to go to work.
My Ranger is outside buried in snow, I won't need it until tomorrow night when it 'warms' up here significantly. I just hope my new battery didn't blow up...

I live on a college campus, and have to drive a mile to one class every monday and wednesday since it is at a separate building, and that is too damn far to walk in this weather. It was -13 this morning, and my battery was so frozen that at first try, I got about one revolution out of my engine before the battery quit. So, I sat there for about 10 seconds with my headlights on to get the battery working, and it slowly went whir......whir...whir..whir.whirwhirwhir and then fired up. Since I didn't need to go far, I wasn't going to warm it up, just idle through the gears up campus, and my clutch was stiff as hell. My buddy's 'Yota started, but it wouldn't move until it warmed up some. He started it, put it in reverse, let out the clutch, and the clutch engaged over the course of about 5 seconds the fluid was so viscous from the cold. It was pretty funny.

Ah yes, I remember back in days of yore when I had the same troubles with my clutch. That's probably the one thing I DON'T miss about the stick shift. lol.

It's been hanging around -35 here in northern ontario for about 2 weeks. Some parts of the province were even reporting -50 with wind this morning.

Best part about it?? MY EXPLORER STARTED THIS MORNING!!!! And that's without being plugged in!

Oh....and the reason I had to start it this morning?? BECAUSE MY BROTHER'S CHEVY WOULND'T START!!!! AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I tried to boost it, but it's a block of ice...my old man is out there fighting with it right now.
