Clean your room before you criticise the world.
Yep title sums it up how you guys doing?

Well I have horrible diarrhea and this weird squishy lump on my knee the size of a grape but otherwise I'm good. Congrats to you and your brother.

Congratulations on the wedding and new house! I recently had a nice trip to Michigan. Took the wife to Bronner's and had some money left afterwards.

Bronner's... Christmas all year long!

Did you get some chicken livers at the Bavarian Inn too?

Congrats on the house! I hope you got a good deal on it.

The market in maine is still super jacked up cause of covid. Rich city types still flocking up here to escape their super populated cesspools.. now paying 100k over asking price for houses priced AT 100k -__-

Married. Houses...

You will have that

Houses are going crazy around here, most selling within mere days of coming on the market, often for more (much more) then they are worth. We’ve been looking for a few months now, getting tired of paying rent and not owning anything. Hard to find anything remotely affordable thats big enough for all my outside stuff.

It is crazy right now... We went through it (and actually still are in the middle of moving).

I was lucky to find a for sale by owner house and got it right at appraised value.

The people buying our house listed their house on a Friday and had 6 bids on Saturday. They got 26K over their asking price.

I probably should have listed our house but the neighbors bought it "as-is" and I didn't have to carpet...paint... nothing.

It's ridiculous right now in Florida. I'm a land surveyor and right now we're at the number of work orders we had in September last year. About 60-70% of our business are surveys for new purchases and new construction. Another 20% or so for existing homes being resold.

You're right about that. My buddy's MIL put her house up for sale and had fifteen showings in two days then got like five offers over asking price.

I got some family moving down here sometime in the next year and I am sure it's gonna be tough for them to find a place to buy. Houses in my neighborhood are selling same day, etc.

I have one relative moving here for a new job and luckily he was able to find an apartment to rent for a year. At first, they acted like they weren't going to have any vacancies but once they heard what kind of job he was moving here for, that opened some doors.
