Bronkzilla - '79 Bronco

Why would you lift it to fit 35"s? Lifting sucks you just want to clear the tires at full stuff and no higher it looks bad when you are to high for your tires.

she barely fits the 31s thats on her, i can only imagine 35s

she has sagging issues

eh. Haven't we seen these picks on 3 threads now?

wont be doing any motor work like that, old 351s and 400s are next to impossible to find.. but if i do that stuff ill get it from summitracing.com

but the rear oil seal is leaking pretty bad..its not draining out put tis comin pretty good, do you guys think some Lucas stop-leak will help any? or is it just a waste of time, i will be fixing it sometime but wondering for when im drivin her around gettin her up on ramp stands and everything, thanks

i wouldnt waste my time or money on the lucas, pull the oil pan, #5 main cap, and replace the seal it is a 2 piece seal, the 351 will run forever if you keep oil and water and gas in it, but i would def, upgrade to the 400 just get a crank and get a set of pistons from tim meyer, great guy to work with,
http://www.tmeyerinc.com/cart400pistons.htm
the first ones listed will work with your factory heads, you will love the power increase, these pistons have the correct comp. distance that ford! should have installed in these engines, they also help to reduce detination because of the better quench effect they create, anyways nice bronco

Like I said before, the solid axle FSBs are hard to come by. If you destroy it I will drop kick you through the phone lines right into your face.

It would bake a great DD except the gas consumption. Take your time and do her right. No child killer snorkles. No duct tape. FLOOR MATS ARE THE LAST THING YOU NEED. And for christ's sake don't dress it up with 3 billion lights.

I'm sure you know, go over all the juices. I took on a 94 Eddie Bronco to rebuild and restore. All the juices were no where near their original color. I wouldn't be surprised if the Newfies had never changed the transfer case gear oil.

You'd be surprised what a rattle can paint job can do. But be sure to sand and prep and tape and follow it through.

Due to the nature of the beast, they're easy to lift. Springs for the rear but blocks will do, new coils for the front and the correct radius arm C bushings. And a drop pitman arm (same as most full size fords, jeep ZJ/XJ/waggy)

If you ever ram something, I've got a grill left over from my 79. It's yours if you want it.

I've also got a Chiltons for 7?-8? trucks and broncos. I think you should have it. Just pay shipping.

and dont worry im gonna baby this one with everything i got, i was cleaning her out and i lift up the carpet on the passenger side and theres a hole there, so i cut some metal and bent it to shape and now i just wanna weld it in, but i cant weld. i took the welder for a test ride and this is how it turned out

Why yes, yes I do.

And let me guess, stick welder?

I had trouble starting a bead with one of those too. If you only have access to that then your gonna have to learn. Try softly swipeing it on an angle then once you get a bead started level off a bit, but not completely strait. Almost, but not completely.

Also, if you have access to some auto darkening goggles/mask use it. It makes it easier to know where you are.

But then again, it's been over a year since I've welded.. so maybe one of the pro's on here can help you out.

Oh, and if that's not stick and it's mig.. I'm gonna call LBF and let him know that you need a kick. Haha.
