Well...... this is Ford's big truck news:

really?
get the truck out of here, thats not news

wow.... I can actually see ford hiring a full team for something as stupid as a damn emoji. I've been losing faith in Ford and this is just icing on the cake. If I had the money, my truck would be long gone and I would probably be in a Toyota. Sorry ford but Toyota's are tried and true and have a lot less issues, oh and they are better off-road vehicles. Way to blow it, again, Ford!

I wish people would just tell us how they really feel...

Actually look into them people put up with a lot of stupid crap... but it least it is a Toyota.

Good luck finding a '99, they are so good Toyota crushed a lot of them.

I refuse to start a thread about Ford designing a pickup emoji.

I can't believe all of the online media outlets that have dedicated news to it.

I would think that was just a spoof... and there is some real news they will release shortly.

I kept expecting leslie nielson at the end , because I was thinking “surely you cant be serious?” and of course you know the next line...
“yes I am serious, and dont call me shirley”

.... I watched it again, “professionall emoji driver”..... seriously?????

Not a spoof. Real news. Confirmed. No more news coming this week.

I said I wasn't going to create a thread announcing that Ford designed a pickup emoji, but I did create one explaining that we've been trolled.

My brother and father in law are both sr master techs at Ford dealers, neither think too highly of the bigger ones.

We have about 25 of them in our fleet... rear brakes every 20-25k miles. Half of them have blown the driveshaft coupler (rubber POS coupler, no front u-joint) apart and went back for the recall.

Big ones are good for breaking exhaust studs and the front end sounds really cheesy.

We haven't had a broken exhaust stud yet. Is that at the head or manifold to y-pipe?

Trolled... Spoofed... it is what it is, Either way that wasn't news... they kicked us in the groin... and they think it's funny.

But back to the topic...

My thought here is let the Ranger go head to head with GM Toyota and Dodge's new entry into this segment. That's a fairly sizable task in itself. Then let the Bronco do battle with the Jeep and it's derivatives. It makes sense in my head anyway.

I also think that the aftermarket will play a huge role in the Bronco's success competing with Jeep. If they don't develop some cool reasonably priced bolt on stuff... the popular vote will probably stay with Jeep in the general DIY'ers viewpoint.

if ford does its usuall poor job of promoting, it wont even compete with a step 2 car.

Manifold to head. Sounds like they are fun to fix.
