Yeah, XLS was kind was a sporty sticker and body kit package.

they r pretty cool looking.1 last question.do u know if the bronco 2s and the 1st gen rangers 83-92 share the same suspension 2x4 4x4?i know exterior wise there pretty similar wasn't sure if underneath was the same or not?

2wd BII uses different I beams than a 2wd Ranger. 4wd beams interchange with Ranger, BII and Explorer swapping.

They did change over the years, they did make the 4wd axles better over time but they all swap (as an assembly) you can’t take a beam from a 97 and swap it by itself onto an 86 but you can the whole axle.

It is neat that 4wd beams bolt into a 2wd BII, that won’t happen on a ranger or Explorer.

so 2wd I-beams from 80s rangers won't work on a 2wd bronco ll.i wonder how different they really r?

To convert a Ranger front end to 4wd you have to change the engine crossmember and pivot brackets. To convert a BII to 4wd you have to swap the axle.

4wd front axles are interchangeable with both.
