Bronco II value help

Need advice for a purchase price of a Bronco II. Its a 1988 xlt with a 4.0 ohv explorer swap 90k miles 5speed manual and manual locking hubs. Clean rust free body and frame. New brakes, tires. Dual exhaust and aftermarket stereo.
Solid truck but does have a leaking rear main seal and a "better than most" plastidip paintjob
Whats it worth?
Seems like Bronco II prices are on the rise.

Up here I would pay $1000 for a rust free body. Nothing else included.

It's worth what you decide pay for it. There's no blue book value for custom trucks that old. Look for similar trucks sold in your area but expect the prices to swing wildly. You may see one sold for 500 and one sold for 5,000...

Keep in mind, there's no way to verify if the mileage on the truck/engine/trans is correct. It's really only worth what you or someone else is willing to pay for it, so it'll be hard to really nail down a value..

Depending on overall condition, I wouldn't have a hard time laying down $3500 on a really nice BII with a 4.0 swap, but it better be done right with no hackery. The 5spd makes it worth a little more in my world, but not having a 2.9 is what really speaks to me..

Regardless, I'm thinking I'd never give over $4000 for one, but that's just me.

Looks clean enough, but seeing how it's been painted, there's no way to verify how much body filler was used..

For $10,000 the dude's nuts. Super clean all original paint survivor BII's have a hard time bringing that kind of cash normally, although there has been one or two nearly museum quality examples go for closer to $20,000 in the last couple years. But those are flukes really..

10k is nuts... but if he waits long enough someone will pay it. I'd never pay more than 4 or 5k for a bronco 2 even if it was in absolutely mint condition with 3 original miles on it. They just aren't that special to me. But to someone they are.

Certainly not worth $10k. I bought my 88 EB Bronco 2 for $800, had the transmission rebuilt and a new engine installed...I've got almost $13k into it...I'd be lucky to sell it right now for $1,000. I sure as hell wouldn't spend $10k on someone's 1/2 ass paint job, and for a vehicle with the wrong engine in it that has quite questionable work done to it. I guess people seem to think they're worth more now that Ford is re-using the Bronco name for the 2020 mall crawler they're trying to pretend to build.

I love my Bronco 2 but if I were buying one I wouldn't pay someone $10k for one don't care what condition its in, its going to be either 30+ years old or approaching the 30 year old mark, so everything in it is going to be that age, give or take how much they've swapped out for other old parts from the junk yard. I spent a lot of money on my Bronco 2 only because its staying around for a long time as I enjoy driving it....but would I just dump a pocket load of cash on one that someone is selling and no knowledge of its history nope I wouldn't.

Even with the 4L swap, and the 1/2 ass paint job, it don't make it worth $10k. Maybe $3-4k

Keep in mind they cost about $13k new back in the day LOL.

This one also has the 4L V6 swap, larger axles, and a lift. Not sure where the listing you found is located but I think I'd pass on a $10k vehicle that's gonna be 30 years old LOL.
