Hey guys I have an 85 b2 with a 2.8l
My question for ya'll is that I have a 91 xploder that I am swapping the axles and engine into mine.
My question is how much lift should I expect and how much more wheel travel (please be more than I have)

If you're just swapping the engine & axles in, the wheel travel won't change significantly, if at all. Swapping the Explorer's springs in might slightly lessen wheel travel in some cases because they are stiffer (though it can also increase the suspension's ride height slightly, maybe 1-1½ inches or so).

Effectively increasing wheel travel generally means putting an actual suspension lift with longer shocks on it to give the suspension more range of movement.

Also, if you don't have the Explorer rear axle flipped you can expect a drop of 3 to 4 inches.
