I have a 88 model does anyone know of any wiring harness problems i changed out my water pump an thermostat yesterday got everything back together ran great about 30 min later i smelt something burning went out side my truck was on fire the coolant reservoir cruise control servo master cylinder reservoir an purge canister an all the wiring harnesses on the left fender melted its not a hard fix but it looks like it started near the Left headlight i have full coverage insurance so maybe they'll fix it its a good truck it belonged to my uncle who drove it some times but was too tall to be comfortable in it he left it to me after he died. It had less than 35000 miles on it all factory i put about 4000 miles on it an its a great truck i want to keep it i had to get it winterized i live in east Texas never really gets cold here but dropped down in the 20s it was ready i just hope it will get fixed
