ok now im workin underneath and ive heard of putting a rhino liner type of liner on the frame and under body of trucks just never seen it and would it help once i got all the rust off or should i just not bother with putting it on?
i went by a junk yard and picked a rhino basket up for 30$ its 50x39 and my roof rack bars are 47x37.. now i just need to know if itll fit, i cant check it yet because my b2s in a different city than me right now so before i take it home i was wondering if it fit or not so i could sell it
ok now that im on break i have time to work on the under body were i found a good amount of rust, on the body, the frame, the floor i need it gone basically so anybody got any good ways to get rid of it
The only way to "get rid of" body rust is to cut it out and replace it, preferably with steel. Some folks have used fibreglas but that is a stopgap measure.
Buy some Master Series silver. Take a wire wheel and clean the areas you show in the pics. Use some harder if need be, but clean it up well, nothing loose left. Then put on two good coats of MS. After that, coat it with whatever you want, bed liner, undercoating, black paint etc. You will be fine.
