i have a 1989 bronco 2 and wasnt sure if when u put it in 4 wheel drive do all 4 tires turn or is it just the pasenger side. i know a dumb question, but i was just wondering.:icon_thumby:

Nope,
4 wheel in open and limited slip axles will only spin one tire per axle when you start to slip. Guess which one that is?

With an open diff the tire with least resistance will spin freely while the other side sits there. If you research the gears in a open rear end you will see why, if it makes you feel any better it spins twice as fast.

what people seem not to realise is that the wheel that isn't spinning is still pushing the vehicle with exactly as much force as the wheel that is spinning.
