i was recently changing the water pump on my 1990 4.0l and i broke a bolt when removing it, does anyone know where i can get bolt info for a replacement or have had this issue a know the bolt specs?

Shouldn't be anything special. Take it to home depot and use the little bolt thread guage they have in the hardware isle to determine the threads and then just find the right length.

I think they are 8.8 grade and any hardware or auto parts store should carry them in correct thread and length
If I remember correctly there were 2 or 3 different lengths on 4.0l water pump

So you need to match the length, after you have the broken end out check it for length
Or check its location on water pump using other bolts to match its length
Then take matching bolt to stores to get replacement

"They" use to sell water pump bolt sets(kits) but didn't see any kits for the 4.0l any more

Just a heads up, the water pump bolts torque specs are 72-106/in-lbs, so 6 to 7ft/lb, this is SNUG, do not over tighten them or they will break, or warp the pump plate and cause it to leak
