it drives me nuts at night when you've got a vehicle with bright headlights (stock or aftermarket) and you can't see they're friggin turn signals. question is, how can i increase the brightness of my signals? i was thinkin leds but im not sure if they would actually be brighter.

brighter then crap. they actually light up trees and buildings along the side of the road when they blink :icon_thumby:

If your headlights are so bright or misadjusted that your turn signals are invisible TURN THEM DOWN. You aren't doing anyone on the road -- including yourself -- any favors by blinding them.

wicked sludge, whered u get those lights? nice. those headlights are cool too

good god I want to see LEDs in that lense... LEDs make a bolder, purer color with no glare. They have amazingly bright ones now...... I am the LED prophet!!!!!!

85crownhpp i like the video, kinda reminds me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind :D

I still need to finish my front ones, but I've replaced the bulbs with custom made LED's. I had to pull the lens apart and fit them, and glue them in, and so far they work, and work well. I will light up any reflective surface in sight with them. I kind of wish I went with the 6mm LED's as the 10mm are almost to bright. They cost me nearly $200 to do all 4 corners, but I am happy with how they turned out.

Park lights are set 2 rows of 8 I believe

and the brake/signal are 12 rows of 8, if I'm remembering correctly.

dayum!!! thats expensive... the super-bad bulb replacements are down to like $30 a pair now...

True, but you'll never see another one like them on the road. They are also a "lifetime" bulb, so I'll never have to worry about changing a bulb again, aside from my back up lights,

Mike is right, do it right or don't do it!!!

Listen the best and probably the simplest was to get brigher breaklights is to swap the 1157 for a 2357 bulb (50% brighter on the brake/turn signal filament).

I've seen someone take the reverse light blubs out and replace them with orange blubs and hook the reverse lights to the signals, then add a seperate reverse light.
