brighter instrusment panel

I got a 88 ranger with the stock instrument panel and stockight bulbs in it. I was wondering if therr was a way to make it brighter. Also is there a way to change the color? Thanks

Check your charging system and the rehostat on the headlight switch too. I've found that if the dimmer or the alternator start to go bad the brightness of the dash lights is the first thing to suffer.


When you go to pick a new color, remember that the lens is tinted blue. The blue tint plus the yellowish color of the 194 bulbs is what makes the green color. This will make a difference. I knew a guy who wanted red so he got red bulbs. He ended up with a purple dash.
