so today i swaped over some stuff. installed my 6 inch coils and was gonna mess with new break lines but i got the wrong ones, so i hooked em back up, and proceeded to bleed the brakes. had the wife come out and do the pushing and well. I thought it was just fine!

Then i went to go mob the danger ranger on some little bumps at highspeeds...checked the brakes several times before i did that...

and everything is fine..breaks work very well....but the ranger started up twith the abs light on and break light on...

whats that mean? did i bleed the breaks wrong?

also what is the part # for the break hoses that are at napa that are longer than the stock ones. i tried using the # in the tech and they couldnt find anything....

well let me know guys.....THANKS! AJ pics to follow tomorrow..lol

low on brake fluid?

could be a streched wire or bad sensor, bad ground. it could be any number of things

low on brake fluid...lol....thats probably it...DUMBASS! :icon_rofl:

fill her back up and see if the light turns off...lol...

yah i filled up my brake fluid and it was basically empty but the abs light didnt go off immediatly. so i turned it off and hopedd it would reset itself but it didnt...so i drove around town with it the way it was trusting my brakes would work...checking them constantly to insure nothing was going to fail on me....and about 30 minutes later the light just turned off and its now just fine. so im hoping all is well and i dont have anymore problems.

well, low fluid will turn the ABS light on too, and it can take a bit for it to be sure its ok and go out again.

must have gotten air in the abs unit, try to bleed the system some more

yah thats probably what happened....typically if theres air in the system at all you would think that it would be a little spongy. Its freaking rock hard blead. so im leaning away from thinking its got air in it. that and i just about locked em up yesterday, so i know they work really well....lol...

well either way as for now shes gonna have to stay the way she is. but i need some extended break lines. front and back.
