Okay! I got my Ranger running, tabed and insured. Now that its Legal for the road.. :icon_confused:

I've run into a problem. When I drive, my truck pulls to the right. Sometimes it'll go severely to the Right, but when I push the brakes, it'll pull to the Left.

Sometimes it'll track straight and stop normally. Sometimes it'll act like it has a flat tire on the right side. What could be causing this? Before I got it, It had been sitting since 2004 and started about once a year. :bawling:

I've heard that the calipers are self-aligning. Is that true? What parts would I need to replace? Btw: the pads seem to be in good shape and the rotors look clean. Not sure what Glazing looks like.

Any Help would be awesome!:headbang:

Sounds like both calipers could use a good cleaning. Sitting for long periods of time is not good. Brake fluid will absorb moisture.

that would be a good cheap starting point.remove the caliper pins and clean the pins, caliper, and where they slide back and forth with a steel brush and spray lube.

Start cheap and work up from there. Sounds like it might need an alignment also.

:icon_cheers::icon_cheers::icon_cheers:calipers are simple to rebuild yourself , go to any auto parts store and get a kit. when you see the components youll wonder why we have brake mechs. remember when you blow the piston from the housing to protect it with a thick rag or rubber against impact. use a fine grade paper (2000) to clean up piston and o seal port blow outall build up before reassymbly. have fun .
