Brakes!?

SO. My front brakes just love to lock up and give me a heart attack at stoplights when its raining. It has always done this since the day i bought it, and only when it rains, so i don't worry about it too much, and it doesn't do it after i brake a few times and its back to normal. Yeah, I've heard its just dry spots on the rotor or a thin layer of rust etc. makes sense i guess but could it be anything else like another pita fix? Thanks!

tires, what kind, what size, HOW OLD?
do the rear brakes work at all?

You can also upgrade your brakes for better stopping power. Lots of good threads about it.
