brakes for my new 8.8

i just got a 8.8 rear end from a 99 ranger with 3.73 gearing and limited slip for 41.53 after tax. and if i bring my old rear back i get 10 bucks back that included the backing plates and wheel cylinders for the 10 inch brakes!!! question is do i have to buy new ebrake cables to go to the 10 inch from the 9 inch. and do i have to make sure i buy the brake parts for a 99 ranger or will any year ranger do. i plan on getting drums from the junkyard but i forgot them cause theyre only 4 bucks each.

i have one from an explorer and it is just easier to go with the vehicle it came from. and i hooked up the 9" brake cables and they work fine but if you want to change go ahead

nah ill use my current brake cables they are less than a week old along with all my 9 inch brake stuff.
