I'd heard from someone long ago that if you have larger tires on the back it will affect the brakes...apparently the rear brakes will try to engage before the fronts...and that is not desireable when you have front disc and rear drums...

Is there any substance to this? If so, what would be the logic...I'm trying to understand how this would apply...not really the nitty gritty of the science, but a general explanation would do...

Thanks for any and all input...

Sounds like a bunch of B.S. Obviously, the brakes will have to work harder to stop a bigger tire but I doubt you'll ever notice a difference. If you had 4 wheel ABS you'd have the light coming on pretty quickly but I wouldn't worry about any problems with a rear ABS setup.

Thanks for the input...I didn't really give it much thought because my brake problems were from a general lack of TLC and proper care...from the prev owner, of course...
