So the brakes in my back are being weird. I just put all new shoes and springs on the rear drums, but the still feel like they are not kicking it. I know you have to back up to adjust them , but after like a week the seem to loosen up again. Do I just have to adjust them every week? Not like going in reverse once a week is a big deal just wondering if I should be worried about something?

Thanks Guys

Did you make sure everything was connected to the correct spots? You have the Self Adjusting Cable attatched correctly? Does it look like this?

And common mistake #1:

Did you do one side at a time?

If not, you have a 50/50 chance of getting the adjusters interchanged. They are NOT the same. Switch them and your brakes will auto-loosen.

Yeah I did one side at a time. I took the drum off to look at it while I did the other side. I made sure that all the parts were exactly the same as the ones I took off. I think I took like 3 hours to do it, just to make sure it was all done correctly, because the day before I was half way up a hill wheelin' and my brakes went out. It was not a fun experience.

Which side is this from? I need to know which side the adjuster and everything face. Also which side ahs the larger pad, front or back?
