I have a 2000 Ranger 4x4 and I am having a braking issue. When coming to a stop, the ABS seems to activate just before I stop - almost every time. The wheels are not locking up or sliding.
I have recently replaced all of the brake lines, front to rear and am certain that there is no air in any of the lines.

any ideas?

This is very common on Escapes. They crack the tone rings and do exactly what you are describing. Check your front tone rings carefully for cracks and if they are both intact check your rear ones. If you don't have actual tone rings in the rear (some do, some don't) then replace your rear sensor.
