Abs light was on previously and no abs but regular brakes worked fine. Months later I adjusted rear shoes and installed new front pads. Now brake pedal easily goes to the floor. Removed front and back lines from brake master cylinder and plugged outlets and brake pedal was hard and solid. Fuse check okay. No fluid leaks and no air. Help. :icon_bounceblue:

Thanks. harold

one question.
when your ABS light was on previously did you add fluid....was it low? almost sounds like you have a leak somewhere you just cannot see/find or there's air in your ABS unit

When you put in new pads did you pump the pedal several times. When the pads are new and you've pushed the calipers open it takes a few pumps to tighten those against the disk again The pedal goes clear to the floor until then.

What trail said....or you could have sucked in some air...if it's only soft, it will eventually work it's way out.

master cylender could also cause it to go to the floor, mine went bad after 130,xxx miles
