Do rangers brake lines have a single or double flaring?

Double...

Depending on year there can also be metric bubble flare.

connections at the ABS pump are the bubble type, and metric threads.

Depending on year, I’ve seen double flare with both the normal nuts and adapter nuts (usually the adapter nuts are for the rear wheel cylinders on some years, I’ve played the game to buy wheel cylinders that don’t require anything but normal nuts). I’ve also seen metric bubble flare with and without metric fittings. Until recently I wasn’t able to make the metric bubbles so I bought adapter fittings that went from Metric bubbles to double flare SAE.

I replaced master cylinders in my '86 and a '92 recently, the '86 had a double flare on both fittings at the master cylinder. '92 had bubble flare at the master and double flare everywhere else, including the RABS valve.

I do not know much about the bubble flare, but strength in the line is the common theme on all brake lines.

Bubble flare is similar to half of a double flare, like what it looks like when you use the double flare button to start a double flare before finishing it.
