I am having a problem with my brake lights and need some help. I have replaced the bulbs but that was not my problem. When I drive during the day they work fine but when I turn my lights on at night the tail light on the drivers side is a lot brighter than the other and when I push on the brake it doesnt change. It acts like the drivers side tail light is "engaged". Is there a brake switch or something I can replace to help this problem? I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

With these types of problems it is probably bad ground/s. Clean sockets and bulb bases and any other grounds you can find or think of.
Good luck,

Richard

Bulbs are less than 24 hrs old. The sockets are pretty packed full of grease (from the previous owner). Would too much bulb grease keep it from getting a good ground? Especially if it was kinda old and hardened up a lil bit? I guess I will try cleaning all the grease out of the sockets, check my grounds and go from there. Anyone else feel free to chime in. Thanks.
