Brake light on dash, caliper touchy while braking

The brake light has been on for a while. Recently I noticed that if I have to hit the brakes a little hard, the driver side caliper really grabs and the tire might chirp a tiny bit. If I brake normally, it's not an issue. The wetter the roads, the more noticeable it is. No ABS light, just the brake light is on the dash. Codes are unknown right now, will have them read as soon as possible, just curious what it could be.
