Ok. So up untill a few weeks ago everything was normal. Then I notice while going to shut off the cruise with the brake I had to actually push the brakes to dissengage it. I noticed the other night that my brake lights don't come on unless I push hard on the brakes. Is there a way to adjust where the sensors pick up a signal or something to make it work normal?

Check the switch. If it isn't mounted right that is what you get.

How is it supposed to mount. I never looked at it before

It should sit up on it's little bracket and the plunger should be almost touching the pedal arm when it's at rest.

it looks to me like its set up right. i think. but how would you adjust it anyway. i cant really see anyway to do anything. it looks like everything just kind of clips together

would i have to adjust the rod going into the master cylinder? because theres no way to adjust the sensor
