I got home put it in 1st gear shut her off and sppfffshhh the brake pedal hits the floor. I blocked the wheel and looked under it and brake juice all over the passenger side rear tire. Well I stuck my head under there and There is some splatter on the top of the axle but a ton that looked like it ran out of the drum onto the tire. I have to barrow a jack (my jack blew a seal and leaked out the hydraulic fluid) from someone and Im low on daylight. This is the first time I ever had to crack open the drums so if anyone has an Idea what to look for let me know. Im gonna crack open the manual right now and get a feel for what Im looking at.
92 4cyl ranger 2wd I believe mine are the 9inch drums thanks to all in advance

it sounds like you blew the wheel cylinder. when you get the drums off its the cylinder shaped part mounted to the top side of the backing plate, its the part the brake line connects to. its not difficult to replace but it will require you to bleed the brakes after you replace it.

Thanks Im looking at a picture of it right now in the manual! Bleeding brakes is no big deal. Thanks
