My 87 broncoII is bout shot. Seems evertime I drive it it braks something. It has been a REALLY good one also. It has held up to my brother flogin it ever day and it got handed down to me. I cant keep starters in it seems they go out ever 2 weeks. none of my gages work. keeps running batts down. frount drive line poopin alot. Rear axle seal leaking. The list keeps goin on and on.
I am very sad I have to do it but I have to get me a new truck. Its just suckin my money in tryin to keep it runnin. Im just a poor high school kid so I dont have a lot of cash.

I have had a lot of good times in it. Weather it be havein fun out in the hills, hunting or just drivein it. I am sooo sad I have to do this. It meant alot to me whene my ol man handed me the keys and its here ya go son its yours. I have aperacred that ever since I have drove it.

I think you should hold onto it if the body is still in decent shape. Go and get yourself a new DD and rework the BII. Lift it, swap in a D35 and Explorer 8.8. Swap a 4.0 into it and make it into a play truck.

put the right starter in it.


put a new bearing and seal in it...probably needs a shaft by now though. hell a whole different axle from the salvage yard shouldnt be more then a 120 bux.



gauges dont work? battery runnin down? eating starters?

yeah, you have some issues. start by cleaning and repairing/adding grounds and carefully looking at the starter wire and alternator wires. something skittering round the wood pile there.


seems like minor maintainence issue to me. or maybe lack of...


better get a kia. they gots the 10 year deal.

yea shes had a hell of a run..yes I plane on doin some work later on to it whene I have some extra money. But im never goin to have the moeny to do any mods to it as long as im drivein it. I have checked everthing cant find nothing.
to beat it all the axles are good as new. I have been runnin 235 75s for a wile now doin some mild wheelin and ant broke a thing..
I also need a truck to haul my 4 wheeler and stuff around.
yes the body is in perfert shape not 1 spot of rust.paint is startin to chip a little. But im gettin it painted this summer if im driveing it or not,
