hi everyone, well on my new ranger I just noticed this button on the console with a P on it , I have checked the book and I can't find out what this button is for . anyone know ? thanks.

P is for "push".

Push it and see what happens...

I would clean the P off of it.

Since you didn't include a picture, we have to guess.

If it is this P button, with the cone and the "off" that lights up, it shuts off the audible park aid.

There could also be another P button, which is for people who are too lazy or incompetent to actually be allowed to drive. It would parallel park the vehicles for you.

Push the P button only when you have to P.

DON"T PEE !!!

I would check the glove box. Often times when you purchase a new truck they put this strange little book in there that has answers...

Not sure about that. But some modern vehicles put the "operator's manual" in digital memory to be accessed through trial and error by going through a bunch of menu screens on the digital information display. I like the old way better.

Let's face it. How do you read "what to do for a dead battery" if the battery is dead but the magic information screen requires battery power?

Oh, no!!!!!

The only buttons that should be on the dash are 5 mechanical presets.

Everything else should have its own knob or lever.

Oh on those systems what ya gotta do is get to the second part of level 1 and when you get to the elevators jump off before you get to the ceiling, then run across the top of the screen until you drop down into a room full of pipes, you can then jump down the pipes to skip to level 4...

There is hope, we have rusty advanced to the level of wanting a radio in his truck!

Wait... my radio only has 4 preset buttons!?!?!

Does that mean my truck is too archaic even for rusty?!
