My truck has the 4.0 OHV engine with 137,500 miles on it, I've read all about the common valve train clicks that develop on these engines already, but my engine has a click that you can only really hear when behind the transmission. It's not coming from the top end of the engine because I can't hear it at all if looking at the engine with the hood up, its also pretty hard to hear from the front of the truck. I wouldn't necessarily classify it as a bad sound considering the mileage, and the truck runs great. I'm just curious what is making the sound?
