bosch type three conversion injectors- cool or fool?

gen I and Gen II bosch have the same rectangular plugs and will directly fit into the rails. gen III with the more rounded retangle will need an adapter if you use them. You can find many different injectors in oem cars if you ever need bigger injectors

302s/4.0s/4.6l 2Vs (SOHC) and so on carry 19#ers
yellow/orange and red tops
Lincoln Mark 8/96+ NA Cobras carry 24#ers
L:ight blue tops
thunderbird SC 89-93 carry 30#ers and get 36#ers in 94-95
99-02 SVT cobras got 25#ers
ford lightnings got 42#ers Green tops
03-04 Cobras (supercharged) got a special dual spray 39#ers
dark blue
99-04 mustang GT 21#ers pink tops

what exactly are you looking for?

sorry i should have been clearer, the second row in the link has FUEL ECONOMY UPGRADE INJECTORS that can be used without cpu mods on the OHV 4.0l.still 19#.

mostly i wondered what those in the know think about these.i'm not saying they are worth the cost just for economy, just curious how they compare to stock

are you talking about the skinny yellow ones? Those are gen II 19#ers and they will plug right in. You can find them in the wreckingh yards on alot of the 2v 4.6Ls that are in the cougars/thunderbird/crown vic/town car/mustang gt. there called "high inertia" injectors

if you spend the time to read the page it replaces the 4.6 and other bosch injectors with this gen three style internals injector that plugs into the old setups,it has its own bosch #,and needs no cpu mods.

turbocat,i'm not asking you what you think they come in factory:icon_twisted::thefinger:

seems its an o.e. replacement bmw injector that is more efficient

Im not telling you what i think the GEN IIs come in. I am telling you what they come in if you doubt me take a trip to the yards and look for a little skinny yellow injector on some of the 4.6Ls, its a 19#er that will fit in place of the oem injectors. Ive had those skinny injectors on my 4.0:icon_thumby: and they siad to be a bettter design for better fuel atonamization.
