So I picked up a '95 Ranger and have been fixing it up to re-sell it. One thing that keeps bugging me is the shifter and t-case boots do not goo all the way up to the shifter knobs (see picture). Whats pieces am I missing, or what can I do to not have those gaps?

Thanks

? looks fine honestly, I did not know they had gap fillers o_0

has the boots been cut at the ends maybe? does she have any body lift?

They haven't been cut and there is no body lift.

I thought about cutting a piece of pipe to make a bushing for the shifter since it already has a shoulder; but I'm not sure what to do for the t-case boot. Maybe I'll just rattle can the stick black and call it good. :dunno:
