Ok here is the deal. My 2000 Ranger V6 XLT is a peg leg and now I want a posi. What other rear end off a 4x4 or something will fit my truck without any mods?? I am looking for the cheapest and easiest method. Maybe swap my rear end for one with a posi ??

Thanks ....

A Ranger rear axle would bolt right in.

If you've got a 7.5", upgrade to an 8.8" w/ LS.

Hunt the junkyards...Axles can be had for around $100 easily. More typical prices are in the $150-250 Range. Search the tech section of the site about decoding axles to see what you want. You'll need to know your current ring gear size and current axle ratios.

And for what it's worth, the factory 'posi'/limited slip Trac-Loc's tend to lose their 'two wheel peel' at about 75k or so. Lower the miles the better.
