Boggin's Ranger Shortbed Edition

thanks guys,
and what do you all say on cutting a section out of the frame? or I could just move the axle further ahead and cut off the rear, Im positive that when i bring the ranger home that i will definetly remove the bed and check out the situation..maybe jus add on a flat bed,
thanks

Dude, Just "Bob" it. Waaaayyy easier to do.

Yea, you could bob it, and then if you want it shorter sometime down the road... you can still do the swap.

What condition is the current frame in? I know mines rusty as shit.

Most frames will outlast everything else...the bad spots are usually at the rear end by the spare tire mount...but they can also rot around the front coil mount...I've seen the coil mount detach on an 89 or 90 Ranger...was going to buy it for the cab but that was rotted under the windsheild...

I'd suggest give her a good once over around the firewall to look for rust...peel back the carpets to check the door posts too...if those are good it should last a long time...

it wasnt completely mmounted there, i took it off to paint it black,
and i will probably jump on through the windows anyways, lol

Yeeeeeeee Haawwwww:3gears:
