So i want to lift my truck a bit for very cheaply,

And Ive heard about F-150 coils, i think im going to do this
I heard that it gives about 3" of lift, Ill put some washer under it and try to squeeze in 4" of lift,
So my point is that i need to know what is required to do this

So far I know i will obviously need F150 coils
and im pretty sure i will need bigger shocks, would F150 shocks work on my 88?
I know i will need a steering extension, which i want to know more about cause i have no clue about steering extensions,
Radius Arms? Will i need bigger ones? if so i can make them with grandpa,
and thats all i know of, im sure im missing some thing, so let me know,
thanks alot in advance

edit--
i will need shifter extension
oh yea, brake lines?

You won't be able to align the truck with 4" of lift, probably even 3" unless you get drop brackets.

You don't need a steering or shifter extension unless you are planning on a body lift, but if you buy a kit, they should be included.

You'll probably want radius arm drop brackets, since it's only 2wd and you most likely won't need the flex offered by extended arms.

Yeah you'll need brake lines. Maybe not for 3", but they're a good idea.

k thanks and yea what was i thinkin shifter extension like what the hell? lol
yea i had to get new brake lines for the 3" body lift, sad thing is i will have to get new ones, or can i just add on to the old ones? thanks

it's best to do all your break line we had an econoline that blew all the lines at once at a funeral if your not careful you may be at a funeral as the guest of honor. especially since you've got to deal with salt

yea thats what i was thinkin but i just bought new ones last year so i didnt want to go have to buy new ones again, oh well

yea thats what i was wondering about extensions, are they expensive?

just get a piece of line woth the right ends shouldn't be more than 6 bucks for the whole truck i think. but it's been awhile since i've priced brake lines because when lines in van blew we only got 250 ft of it
