at 2 different stores,
A Champion 8000lb, comes with a snatch block and an extra heavy duty hook, $399.99
at the same town, different store
A Superwinch 8500lb, just the winch and remote, $399.99

now there the same price, both are on sale,

I know that one of the two brands, (Champion or Superwinch), is made by Warn, I want the one that is made by Warn,

but really, what do you think is the best deal?
thanks

I'd say look at the motor specs for each... you'll want a series wound motor, not a perm magnet, IIRC. Look at things like power output, gear reduction, etc.

i'm not sure which one is made by warn, but in my experience i like to look at the specs of what the product is made of and it's capabilities :icon_hornsup:, ergo, when i did a search on both products i came up with an impressive detailed list of the components and capabilities of the superwinch but diddly on the champion. now my theory is that snatch blocks are fairly inexpensive [$40-50] and you can probably locate a heavier hook for about $20 give or take, but the question you got to ask yourself is what are you going to use it for and how heavy is your truck:icon_confused:. myself, i run superwinch lockout hubs on my 4x4 and as much as i abuse the shit out of my truck [ which is alot by the way ] by pulling stumps and what ever else i can latch onto and the fact that i've been running my hubs for @ 6years with no problems, of course i pull my hubs apart and grease them once a month need it or not, i would go with the superwinch:D.

Did he say winch or wench? Betcha there's lotsa wenches up there! :tease:

ok guys thanks alot
I will mostly be using it in heavy, extra gooey mucky shit, like stuf that is only up to the fenders on my old quad, so its not bad, but its really really heavy, so i think i might go with the superwinch

Warn's generic brand is called Tabor. I'd go with Superwinch. I know Will uses Superwinch and swears by them.

dont waste your money. save up and get warn. when either of those fail you, you will be in the middle of needing them. otherwise they would not fail cuase you aint using them.

lol

Do they come with Warrantees?

I'd go with SuperWench :D

Why does Boggin always speak in 3rd person?
