Body mounts?

While replacing the front bumper, I noticed the body mounts are rusted to hell. I need to replace these obviously. Rockauto has those Energy Suspension kits for ~$200.

Are they worth it? How much of a difference did you feel in the ride?

My truck is an '89, but I replaced my old rusted and rotted out body mounts with the polyurethane ones and it made a huge difference. I recommend it.

Okay thanks for the recommend. I see your Ranger is used for "extracurricular" activities. Mine is a daily driver. Still worth the change?

How much labor did it take? Doable with simple hand tools?

I just went to move this since it isn't 2wd/Edge/Prerunner specific, but the reality is that I don't see a spot where it really does belong. Weird...

Went ahead and bought the ES kit.

Looked closer and didn't look like I actually needed these after all, but I figure might as well replace them.
