went to install my p/a body lift today. i got as far as removing the 6 body mounts. thanks to new york and the outrageous amounts of road salt no metal hardware is going to come off in one piece. is there and aftermarket for the hardware for the body mounts? i have found pleanty of the isolators online but no hardware. also would it still be a pain if i have to cut out all the mount or should it be easy? any input would be great! btw its an 04 ford ranger 4x4

LMC Truck.com

I have the same thing going on.

yea im gonna go to the local yard i go to to replace the one i snapped the bold head off(if i can get it off) id like to think this woulda gone alot better for me if i didn;t live in new york. we use ALOT of salt here and this has been a local truck since 04 i think my body lift days are over....gonna look for an bronco II or cherokee i think for a family trail rig instead

Lol. Ya rust from salt in ma destroyed my radiator core support on the body mounts. So it bounces freely lol. I gotta fix that before any body lifting happens.
I seen a lifted ranger today 98-00 model but it was white and in hooooooorible shape!!! I tried to save up for the 3500 LT from Dixon bros but, before that bills and things needing fixing happend. So I'm stuck replacing stock parts that would have been replaced by the LT kit. Thanks salt!!!
Lol on a random note I hit my bump stops upfront so much I have a permanent rubber mark on lower control arm haha.

damn road salt! my wifes from MA. her father shit the first time he came out to new york. he said he had never seen a truck just full of straight road salt. where they live they mixed the salt and sand. i also removed the factory bedliner today....won't do that again full of rust holes!

LMC, fastenall, ace hardware will order longer bolts than what they have in stock, you just need to know what size you need.
