gonna be purchasing a body lift soon. I plan on also replacing the body mounts at that time. can anyone recommend a good polyurethane body mount kit? looking for something that is gonna have all the hardware and various components i need. its for an 88 standard cab long bed. thanks
Liam

I always thought that the body lift takes the place of the body mounts.

go to Summit Racing. everything there that you need. if it's too spendy, might try looking on ebay, craig's list, etc. for cheaper. i only did a 2" on mine and didn't need any spacers for shifter or steering column. i think they only make a 3" now, but there are still some 2" sets out there. i'm currently running 31" tires and hopefully next spring, 32". plenty of room for 32's.
don't be surprised if you have to drill out a couple of the body mounts in the front of the cab. they tend to rust in really bad. just get grade 8 bolts/nuts/washers the size of the hole you drilled and that's it.
big difference in the ride and worth the effort. also lots easier working on things underneath with the extra inches of clearance above the frame. good luck!

I always look stuff up on summit and then buy it on ebay lol... Summit has a store on ebay btw

thanks for the input. ended up getting the poly body mounts from summit. ordered the body lift from jim here at the TRS store last night. Ill let ya know how it all goes.

I replaced the originals when I did my frame-off work...and it cost me close to $500 for OEM parts...so I wouldn't recommend that to anyone...

It was just after I finished that I read on here how you can get them for much, much less...
