Body mount brackets

Is there any company that produces the frame bracket that the body mounts mount to? I am also looking for someone that might sell bedsides for a 1993 Ranger with a 7 ft. bed. Thanks for any info.

Umm...not sure what brand the brackets are, but you should be able to get them either from Ford directly or a parts store.

I had problems with the bedsides when I had my '93. It was way cheaper and easier to call a local guy that would buy that stuff at auction. He was able to grab one for me in the ball park of $800.

That way it's all in one piece and you don't have to worry about bad welds or turning it into a bondo buggy.

i couldnt find them anywhere, i had to get mine from ford. it cost me $65 for the rear drivers side mount. you might have some more luck with lmc truck, i didnt check them.

be prepared for cutting out rivets. with mine i had to remove the bed and gas tank to reach the backside.

well it depends on which bracket you need. there are six brackets on a standard cab, and they are all unique to theirself. which do you need?

I know for sure I need the rear cab under the drivers seat. I haven't inpsected the rest yet.

ok the same one on mine went out. i just put on the new one the other day. ill try to remember to see if theres a part number on it tomorrow night.

although if you go to the dealership, just let them know, and it wont take more than 5 minutes for them to find it. then more than likely it will have to be ordered.

i'd try to find a bed at the j/y.. even if its a few hours away..
b/c replacing bedsides are a PAIN

You can order them from LMCtruck.com they sell everything down to every nut and bolt on your ranger damn good prices too, thing is web sites not letting me view things right now. I'll try back later.

no problem man. that mount must go out commonly because most of the time ive heard of one going out on a ranger, its that one.

and i agree with ranger mclaren, try lmc truck first, they might be alittle cheaper.
