got a 6in BDS lift coming for my 95 Ford Ranger 4x4. i want to get a body lift for my truck as well. like a 2-3in. what do i need to do in order to make that happen? Shifter? Stearing arm extention? wireing harnness? just curious. because i wanna fit my 35" Maxxis Big Horns

When I slammed a 3" body lift on my Ranger, I just had to get an extended steering arm extension. With a std trans you'll need a longer shifter bracket. Thats all I did but its also a beater. LoL Im sure more people will chime in.

Best of luck

Im not to sure Twinkss, Im sure one of these senior members would know. Try a search on the forum maybe, if not google until someone chimes in..

need to know more details on your truck. some years require some or all of the items you mentioned and others don't.

Just looked: You need a shift extension, steering extension, and bumper brackets even with a 2" body lift. Not that much lol. I made everything except for the steering extension.

Good luck. :)

I have an 88 as well. *its under my user name.
