Ok, I'm thinking of lifting my 87 BII, after I do my M5OD swap. Which is better, a body lift, or suspension lift, and why? I haven't decided how high yet either, and am open to opinions here, as well. Thanx!

Depends on your budget, and how high you want to go (there are cases where a combination of the two is best).

Maybe a better question would be, What size tires do you want to run on it? Also, is trimming the fenders an option? (would keep your CoG a lot lower since less lift is needed with trimmed fenders)

James duff suspension lift. And a fender trim. Maybe a small body lift IF you need th extra height. I think I'm gonna make a custom 1 inch body lift for a lil extra clearance. A small body lift is nice for motor swaps trans swaps extra room for custom exhaust. You can tuck everything up nicely.

Suspension lift will be better, unless you need some extra body- frame clearance. You can almost do a whole suspension lift with some JY springs and a AAL. Very simple to do!
