There is absolutely no possible way to answer that question. What do you use your truck for? What kind of budget are you working with? What else are planning on for your truck? We need a little more information. Personal opinion, suspension lifts are always better. You get more travel, more new parts, and you avoid that ugly gap between the body and the frame that comes with a body lift. They cost a lot more but they look and perform 10x better.

I'm with him suspension all the way, besides body lift doesn't "perform"at all lol

body lift is nice if you need just a hair more for the tire size you want.. i'd start w/ suspension, then add a 2" body lift if needed.

however body lifts really do have their place in our world... there are times that a body lift is the correct answer. in the jeep TJ world, a 1.25 inch body lift lets you do a tummy tuck and full flat skids. i'm still wondering if that'd be possible in our world to... hm...

Personally I prefer suspension lifts but others have their own ideas. Its all about what works best for your application.
