Blown head gasket

need suggestions on what to replace what to look for all that good stuff... gasket kit on rockauto is 60 bucks camshaft and hydraulic lifters 190 and a new timing set 80. anything else or any suggestions?

Go look for a new head. 2.9's don't blow head gaskets, they crack heads.

I second that. I know it's not what you want to hear but I would take the heads off and check them for cracks. If you don't see anything, have them checked at a shop.

Most of the time though if you blew those gaskets in a 2.9, you cracked the heads.
