blowing FUSES!!???

Well I threw in a 30 am fuse. Put the 4 ways on. Felt the flasher canaster. Seamed very week. I replaced the 30 amp and put 15 amp fuse. Well every thing worka. Did not blow a fuze. But with the hazards on and the brake on. The brake lights don't blink and the front amber lights stay on solid. Does that seam right?

THAT 30 amp fuse burned off whatever was originally grounded and blowing the 15 amp fuse. Just melted that sucker!!! You were lucky it didn't melt a bunch of good stuff too. :icon_welder:

is this the second flasher?? is this also for the 4 ways.? i did end up blowing out the 15 am yet again. is there a way that i can isolate the brakes from the 4 ways. just to get me down the road legal?

One module controls each side. (Left or Right) Both of them have to flash to run the hazard lights. At least I'm fairly sure that's how they did it..

The flasher on the back runs the hazards. It is more heavy duty to handle running all the lights at once. I doubt the flasher relays would be causing fuses to blow.
