Recently bought a 91 explorer. The blower motor quit working. Well at first it would work when I banged on the dash but now has completely stopped. My first thought was bad connection at switch. I pulled the connector off the fan switch. I jumped yellow (keyed hot)and org/blk (fan high), blower did not come on. I ohmed my blower motor and got .8 ohms. I pulled off a connector towards bottom of blower motor with org/blk and pink wire. I get power to org/blk wire with test light hooked to ground.
Also noticed when I bought the explorer the blower would stay on when key is off. I have not messed with wiring. I just tried to remember to turn blower off and keep a set of jumper cables when I forget.
Any Ideas?
