First time dealing with lights. Passenger side has always been loose at the top. It's also cracked, guess it's time for a replacement. I am wondering why the current one's locking pin isn't reaching through to where it locks. Otherwise any ideas on how to fix this?

Second question, what causes the gap between the blinker bottom and the bumper? Everything is bolted tight but it's a mind twister.

I dunno, the 98-00 Rangers all seem to have an excessive gap there around the lights. Poor design choices maybe. You can try loosening the nuts for the bumper and make sure it’s pushed up as high as possible but don’t expect much.

My green 00 Ranger I decided to do the 01 style grill and headlights. The hood doesn’t fit quite right, I still have to change that for the 01 and I still have to finish my front bumper. I think the 01 style is a better headlight design, but you have to change the header panel, grill, and lights plus the hood to make it all match up.
