Blew my sub

FInally pushed it a little too hard too long I guess. not sure exactly what happened, had it at the normal settings that it has been at the last 8 months. Started sounding like the box sprung a big leak so I stopped to look and this is what saw:


It is a sound splinter RL-i10. And I still fully recommend this sub. it hits hard in a small area and is durable as hell. I am ordering one to replace it as I write this.
 
whats the CF of your box. looks kinda small for something with that much excursion.

when it hits the neg pressure in the box will try and hold the cone still and the driver will push thur the sub......kinda like in the pic

.45cf tuned to 27hz. its what was reccomended. The box is longer than it looks in the pic.
